Well this is probably a useless comment given I'm here in 2022 and you left your comment in 2014, but Sha Cha sauce is often called Bullhead BBQ sauce. I believe Sha Cha is an anglicized approximation of the Chinese name.

The instructions refer to items that aren't even in the listed ingredients. How much water should I add to the sha cha sauce? Why is chili oil listed when it's not even mentioned in the instructions? And while you refer to marinating in the michiu or shaoxing wine in the story section, you do not mention the cooking wine at all in the recipe.
