I love hot and sour soup but I don't typically have black vinegar. Can I use regular vinegar in place? I really don't want to buy a bottle of black vinegar if I don't use it much.

Great recipe. Better than the restaurants in my area! I add a little extra black (Zhejiang) vinegar to my bowl when I serve it. I like it super sour!

This is by far the best hot & sour soup recipe that I’ve tried. Thank you so much for the opportunity to make it. I substituted chicken for the pork and don’t think it made any difference.
Can’t wait to make it for friends…
